Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery meets every Monday evening from 7:15-8:30pm to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 steps. This experience allows us to “be changed”. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strength and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life’s problems.

Other Activities & Ministries

Confident Living Bible Study
This study is for men and women. It runs from September - early December and January - April. The format is designed to offer something for everyone. Topics are usually a book - or books - of the Bible. Participants study the week's lesson at home then meet with their small groups on Wednesday evening at 7:30 to discuss the lesson. This allows us to get to know each other well enough to develop friendships and to offer and receive support.

Armor of God Men’s Group
In the Spirit of Ephesians 6:11, Bethel Christian Church offers a specific support group ministry for men that addresses the key area of sexual temptation and sin. This group provides the highest level of confidentiality for the safety of sharing personal issues, with the goal of incredible healing and restoration in Jesus Christ. Overcoming Betrayal
Bethel is now offering a new support group for women suffering from betrayal. Our support group is a safe place to fellowship with other women who have been or are in similar circumstances. Unload your emotional burden and hear other’s stories of God’s mighty restorative power. Together we will work to heal and grow closer to God. Men’s Ministry
This group is designed to foster relationships between men of all ages. There are affinity groups, occasional breakfasts and Bible studies.  Check the calendar for events and activities.

Women’s Morning Break Bible Study
An interdenominational Bible Study for women meets on Thursday mornings from September - early December and January - April. Women of all ages gather in small groups around tables for coffee, prayer and discussion of the lesson. This is followed by a time of teaching until 11:30. Child care is provided.

2nd Time Around Volunteers
Our 2nd Time Around store is a great example of a win-win situation. Our neighbors get great prices on clothing and household items,100% of the money received is used to support other ministries and benevolence needs in the Bay Area, and our volunteers get to make contact and friendships with people in our community. We would like to have the store open more often, however, in order to do this we need more volunteer workers. If you have some time on your hands that you'd like to commit to reaching out to our local community through this ministry, please let us know by signing up at the InfoDesk. No special skills are required, just a desire to serve. Even if it's only once a month, you can help expand the days/hours that 2nd Time Around is available to those in our community.

Homeless Lunch Ministry
Every Tuesday, at noon, Bethel volunteers prepare a hot, nutritious lunch to serve to the local community of homeless men and women. There is a short devotions time before each meal to provide spiritual nutrition as well.
