Adult Christian Education Electives

Summer class electives for adults begin Sunday, July 11th. You’ll be able to choose from two video based series: “Crazy Love, by Francis Chan and “With All Your Heart” by Ray Vander Laan. These classes will encourage us to love God more and remember to rely on Him at all times.

Note: These classes begin at 9:30 am and will end around 10:25 am so that we can all join in the “Connection Time” at 10:30 am on the plaza and in the narthex.

Crazy Love

The Men’s Huddle has been so excited about he Crazy Love series, they’ve recommended that we offer it to the whole church.

It’s crazy, if you think about it. The God of the universe loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn’t working harder at a list of do’s and don’ts - it’s falling in love with God.

Each week this class will view a 10-minute segment on a topic from Crazy Love. The class will then examine these thought-provoking teachings through discussion, interaction, and practical application. Room 206

With All Your Heart

Do you remember where your blessings come from? In Exodus, God warned Israel to remember him when they left the dry desert and reached the fertile fields of the Promised Land. Discover how quickly the Israelites forgot God and began to rely on themselves.

Each lesson will illuminate the historical, geographical, and cultural context of Scripture to transform understanding of God and challenge you in your relationship with Jesus.

The class includes video filmed on location in the Middle East along with discussion on how the example fo the Israelites relates to each of us. Fellowship Hall
